My HG Make Up For Ever Products For A Flawless Face!

I assume most of you have heard of Make Up Forever, a popular brand amongst Make Up Artists who rave about how awesome these products are and the flawless look which can be achieved on you while getting your pics or videos taken! Having owned a few of their products for many months, here I present my review about them.

Make Up For Ever

Let me start with the infamous MUFE HD Foundation!
Make Up For Ever HD Foundation
It is a very clever foundation! Those of us who like the look of flawless skin but weren't naturally born with it, this is the worth the investment! At £27.95 (purchased from Guru Makeup Emporium) a bottle it sure is a steep price to pay but considering the fact that it works brilliantly for flash photography and HD Videos, its worth every penny! And when I really want the best coverage, natural finish and a perfect color match, I reach for my Make Up Forever HD Foundation! This foundation comes in a really sturdy clear plastic bottle with a handy pump and has no SPF in it which makes it all the more suitable for flash photography! If you are in the market for a higher end foundation, this is definitely worth a try!

Make Up For Ever Pan Stick Foundation
Another foundation from MUFE that I love and been using throughout the winter season is the Makeup For Ever Pan Stick Foundation! It is such a nice creamy foundation and it glides smoothly like silk! It has a concealer like consistency and blends like a dream, stays on almost all day and conceals any dark circles, imperfections and redness and gives a beautiful yet not quite matte, nowhere near shiny finish! It can be used as full coverage or could be sheered out by applying it with the help of a damp sponge. All in all, I'd say it's near perfect and at £19.95 its fair price for something that will last you forever!

Make Up For Ever Sculpting Kit
Make Up For Ever Sculpting Kit is the perfect sculpting and highlighting kit! It's a kit featuring complimentary powders, dark and light, that allows you to contour, sculpt, and correct the face structure. I use the shade 3 which is great for contouring and highlighting my face. The dark shade is great because it has no shimmer and no orange undertones which makes it great for a light, natural contour. The powders in the Sculpting Kit are very finely milled and are silky and smooth, and blending them is effortless. Its lasting power is great and can give you the most insane cheek bones. Its expensive at £25.95 but I feel for the price you get your money's worth.
I would suggest to go for this product if you like non-shimmery highlighters and contour a lot.

Make Up For Ever Compact Shine On
Next up on my raving list is the Makeup For Ever Compact Shine On! Usually powder highlighters make me look like a disco ball but this ingenious product just makes me look like I'm lit from within, thanks to the fine mother-of-pearl particles it contains! I apply this over my cheekbones, blending into my brow bone and use a little bit down the bridge of my nose and I'm good to go. Sometimes I apply this all over my face for an overall healthy glow and it doesn't look like I've dumped glitter all over my face. This doesn't get cakey at all, its more like a complexion perfecter and gives a really healthy looking flush to my skin. At £24.95 its pricey but you get a lot of this product. Buy it! I promise you'll love it.

Finally some swatches for you to see of how it looks on my NC 27-30 skintone!

CARGO PLANT LOVE

Cargo Plant Love is a range by Cargo Cosmetics that offers a complete line of eco-friendly organic makeup. It is the only color brand to carry the globally recognized ECOCERT™ certification for its environmental commitment.
What do I Love about Cargo Plant Love?
  • 100% Natural Products
  • Free of Parabens, Phthalates, Petro-chemicals and Synthetic Dyes and Fragnances
  • Revolutionary packaging made from Corn
  • Certified by ECOCERT for being environmentally friendly in product, packaging, and process.
I have been trying and testing a few of their products and all I can say is I adore this range! The first product that I did get my mitts on is their Green Goddess Collection for Eyes and Cheeks...
Cargo Plant Love - Green Goddess Collection
It Comes in a bio degradable packaging that I like very much!
Cargo Plant Love - Green Goddess Collection
As you can see the palette contains 4 eyeshadows and 2 blushes. The pricing is £22 per palette, which I think is fine considering the quality and eco friendly nature of the product.
Cargo Plant Love - Green Goddess Collection
The eyeshadows are shimmery, medium pigmented and blend beautifully. However, the shade Lily comes loaded with chunky glitters and if you're a person who prefers to do their eyemakeup after the rest of their makeup then you're gonna be dissapointed to see all the flakes of glitter covering your entire face! Coming to the blush, Peony is a gorgeous shimmery golden peachy pink and works as a nice highlighter. Rose is a sheer deep reddish pink color, its a gorgeous color and adds a rosy tint to my cheeks!

The second Cargo Plant Love product that I am Luuurrrrvvvinnngggg is their baked Illuminator!
Cargo Plant Love - baked Illuminator
The product comes in a eco friendly packaging. it retails at £15.
Cargo Plant Love - baked Illuminator
I really like its egg shaped case! The design over the case is simple and cool! It is a baked illuminator with golden, peach and bronze veining. This is in shade Wind and its an absolute jaw dropper bronzer and highlighter in one! It really is a stunner and looks far more gorgeous in real than in the pic! However, I was a bit let down to see that the baked product wasn't attached firmly onto the plastic base and it came out on my hands within a minute of opening the case, not expected of a £15 makeup item.
Cargo Plant Love - baked Illuminator
You can get a total of 4 shades from this baked illuminator. All 4 shaded swatched on my hands. The 3rd swatch from your left is how it looks with all shades swirled together.

A side pose of me- wearing the Plant Love Baked Illimunator on cheeks.

The third product I got is the Cargo Plant Love Eye pencil...
Cargo Plant Love - Eye Pencil
Comes in a nice, eco-friendly packaging.
Cargo Plant Love - Eye Pencil
I got this in Dark Brown shade. Its a soft chocolate brown shade, glides like a dream and stays put for hours without smudging. This shade is perfect for daytime wear! Being a product of natural origin, its kind on the delicate eye area and I like the fact that it doesn't cause any irritation to my eyes! Their eyeliners comes in a variety of colors and retails at £10.

FOTD using all the above Cargo Plant Love products. (Sorry for getting a bit product heavy with the illuminator! haha)

Overall, I would give the Plant Love range from Cargo cosmetics a big thumbs Up!

Plant Love is available in the UK at Puresha, check out their massive 50% sale on some of their fab eyeshadows, lipsticks and lip liners! ohh I have my eye on their lipstick in Lola ;)
For USA readers, Plant Love is available at the Cargo Website.

New Eyeko Cream with Extra Glow!

Eyeko Cream Extra Glow - The latest from Eyeko Cream has instantly made me fall in love with it! In short, its a great product with a super cute packaging!
Extra Glow is a shimmery silvery pink highlighter cream and differs from the Original Eyeko Cream that leaves a golden glow to the skin.
Eyeko Extra Glow Cream
Now I must say I'm liking the Extra Glow cream better than their original Eyeko cream which, to be honest, I found a bit hard to work with.
The Eyeko cream has more creamy texture to it and hence takes more time and effort to blend and settle onto the skin and once its on, it would go on to make my already large pores appear even larger, which isn't what I would desire for in a highlighter cream... but the Eyeko Extra Glow is a different story altogether....

Extra Glow has a more fluffy and light texture and hence takes less effort in blending into the skin surface, unlike the Eyeko cream, Extra Glow cream is also much easier to layer on the skin.

In the packaging its written that its an eye cream, moisturiser and highlighter all 3 in one, but I would rather not use this all over my face as I really dont want to end looking like a glowing 'Disco Ball'! lol. Nor would I use it under the foundation, due to its slippery texture it would prevent the foundation to adhere to the skin. Instead, I would use it selectively on brow & cheek bone, nose bridge and given the quantity you get within this cute £8 jar, one could also go on further to use it on the décolleté region, shoulders or even legs for that amazing shine!

I'm wearing the Eyeko Extra Glow on cheeks and chin

Have you tried the all new Eyeko Extra Glow Cream?

Note: The Eyeko Extra Glow cream was sent to me by the Eyeko PR for reviewing purpose. This is my honest review as always.
