A New Hairstyle With Ombre Hair Colour!

HELLO! A few months back I changed the color of my hair from brunette to red and wrote a post about it then! For quite sometime now I had been thinking about coloring my hair again and also get a haircut and style as well! I also felt it would be a welcome change as I am going to India next week! Now the big question which I was pondering about is what color should I go in for and then I recollected that the Ombre hair and Ombre make up is the hot thing these days and why not follow the Ombre trend! So yesterday I got my hair colored with copperish red added to the top, the middle part in red, and the ends of my hair in ginger red! After the coloring process was over I got my hair style with layered cuts on the sides and a bit of curls added as well!

Dry Winter Skin & Hair Remedy: Argan Oil

HELLO! For about a month, I've been following the whole argan oil craze... I've always been concerned with maintaining a healthy skin care, especially during the winter season. Argan Oil is moisturising enough to combat winter's driest skin conditions & is known for its cosmetic, nutritive and medicinal properties.
Argan oil is one of the rarest oil in the world, it grows from the Argan trees...it only grows on certain places and one of the most popular places to get the argan oil is Morocco.
I recently discovered a great argan oil based product from Josie Maran Argan Oil line...the Argan Oil Moisture Stick comes in a pretty looking rose gold travel-friendly tube and looks like a stick of lip balm. I purchased it from eBay for around £26 (also available at Saphora).... I know that's a lot of money for 0.21 ounce of product but my winter skin has been thanking me a lot for the hefty purchase.

Turning From A Brunette To Red Head!

HELLO! It's official! I am a redhead now! Yes! Being a Brunette I had been contemplating changing the colour of my hair for a long long time but never took the bold step of actually doing it. The closest thing that I did was streaking my hair with a different colour but never actually got around completely colouring all of my hair! But then recently I got this strong desire to go in for a colour change. I guess the reason was my birthday was coming up along with the fact my parents were coming to visit me all the way from my home country and so I felt why not go for a change for this doubly special occasion! And so I jumped into it after all and the color I chose was, no prizes for guessing - RED! My favorite colour! It's the colour of love and passion!

My hair was coloured by Martha a famous Hair stylist and Colourist in the West Midlands region of UK! I had to fix up an appointment with her a week in advance! Before the actual colouring process begun I had an initial meeting with her to discuss in detail about the coloring process. I wanted to have a very strong reddish colour but Martha advice me against doing it as my hair being naturally dark in colour would have to be bleached so that it turns lighter in order for the red color to get absorbed and display well and she recommended that i don't bleach my hair as in long run its not good for me. And so she recommended that instead I go for a light shade of red in order for it to look dark red on my hair and I agreed to it.

So today's post is about my transforming from a plain brunette to a redhead and I am going to share with all of you some pics I clicked of me while my colour got changed! Hope you all like them:-

I have to admit that bangs can make a face look totally different! I love this complete change of look after putting the bangs on and after all a little bit of change is what all of us need in our lives - right?



I think a frills and fringes look can never go wrong when worn together! This combo has always been a hit with me and that's the reason why I couldn't resist going in for a layered top to match my hair...just for adding 'frilliness' to my entire look of the day, if you know what I mean!

How Are My New Bangs ;)

HELLO! I got new bangs.......No not real hair bangs! I am talking about a Clip On Bang Fringe Hair Extension!
I wanted to give all of you a preview of my upcoming OOTD post where I am wearing bangs!



For quite sometime I have been toying around with the idea of getting my bangs cut, but then I used to just back out of it. The reason was that I have long hair which I have been growing over the past many years and was scared of cutting them off and waiting for them to grow back. So I decided to do the next best thing! Use clip on bang fringe hair extensions! I bought this one [the one I am wearing in the pic] from an Afro-Caribbean hair salon for around 8 pounds.



I think these clip-on bangs would be ideal for parties or even daily use! They are made with synthetic hair and could be styled just like normal hair... and what makes me all the more happy is that they naturally blend with my real hair :)
