A Mini Haul From Claire's

Hey everyone :)
Although I've never done haul posts its always fun to read what other bloggers have been recently splurging into! Such is the impact these posts have on me, that everytime I see their haul post, it motivates me to splurge more ;D
So here I am posting about my latest splurge from Claire's for you gals (and guys too) to enjoy

Now I have no idea of what this thingy is actually called and all I know is that, its great for transforming your boring ankle/low knee length boots into a fashionable high leg boot! In the above pic I have pushed the boundaries a little bit further by pairing it with my heels!

I got these lovely falsies from Girls Aloud at half price! A while ago I had spotted these at Superdrugs and New Look, but was reluctant to pay the full price for these but now I am really happy that I got these here at a fantastic bargain!

Visiting Claire's and not getting their lovely nail paints is something I just can't do without! I got this pink nail paint, the bottle has a top compartment that contains mini heart shaped glitterlike decorations meant to be sprinkled over the nail paint for an instant easy DIY nail art! The other one is a translucent black nail paint with tiny multi colored glitters in it, great for those days when I fancy a bit of sparkle on my nails!

Did you know that Claire's also does matte nail paints and matte top coats? I bet a lot of you didn't know about this! Rimmel and ELF have had their matte top coats launched for quite a while now and I was beginning to feel guilty for so far not having a single chance to try them out, so the moment I saw this matte top coat sitting on their shelves, I knew its gonna be mine!

Lastly, I got a bracelet with golden, antiquie like finish and detailing, its stunning isn't it!

Hope you enjoyed reading this post, it was my first Haul post but its certainly not going to be my last Haul post! xoxo

Claire's Body Art Crayons - A Fun Product To Try!

Hola All!

Last week I happened to go to the City Centre to do some shopping [for thats what we girls do best, right?] and went to Claire's to buy Nail paints. Over there I came across Body Art Crayons and feeling they maybe a fun product to try, I bought them with hope they would be a good base for eyeshadows and make the colour pop out! After using them I candidly admit I just love them!

Claire's offer a collection of 6 crayons that are safe to use on the face and body. They are similar to the NYX jumbo pencils which I haven't tried yet and so for comparison sake I cannot say how they match upto them. These wax based crayons are not smudge or waterproof so ensure that you have a good base such as UDPP underneath to avoid creasing. After applying them on a good base and finishing of with eyeshadow on it, they last around 3-4 hours after which they start to show a little creasing on the eye.

Claire's Body Crayons in Hot Pink, Orange, Yellow, Blue, Green and Purple.

In the pic below I'm wearing the green eyeshadow from Sleek Bohemian Palette, underneath the shadow I'm wearing the green crayon (and UDPP) as a base. You can see how much more vibrant the green shadow looks from using the green crayon underneath it. Just FYI, I'm also wearing the Sleek Kajal eyeliner in Odyssey on my lower lashline :)

By the way I've also tried them on my lips! They go very smooth without drying. The colour stays on for a longtime and after fading they leave a natural looking stain which can be wiped off with a good makeup remover.

Overall I would say its a good product to try if you are planning to have fun with your makeup! The Claire's Body Art Crayons are priced at £7 for a pack of six crayons weighing 3 grams each.

So have any of you tried the Claire's Body Art Crayons or a similar product from a different brand as an eye base or planning to try them? I would love to hear your opinion about them!
