Mighty Little Tools For Hair and Makeup

Hey all!
Today I am going tell you all about tools that have earned a permanent place in my daily makeup and haircare routine!
I'll start with some makeup brushes!
I just love my ELF flat top brush as its a perfect brush for blush, powder and foundation! Its an all rounder brush that works brilliantly for applying liquid and powder makeup, it's soft and very dense and gives a flawless finish everytime! Another flat top brush that I love is a mini version of my ELF brush, from eBay and it works fab on the smaller areas of my face as its a dense brush made with synthetic fibres and I always carry it while travelling.

Next, the Heated eyelash curler from Cermen. I use this curler after applying mascara, it's heat comes through almost instantly and curls my lashes brilliantly. They are very safe to use and make a huge difference to the look of my lashes. I've had these for five years and it still works. With this, there is no squeezing or clamping of lashes as it happens with conventional metallic ones.

Curling your hair with heated hair curlers can damage your hair in the long run, especially using them every day as the intense heat from them would eventually rob the moisture from hair and make them look dry and frizzy. This is why I've been looking around for some heat free alternatives to hair curlers as I tend to curl my hair a lot and this is what I ended up buying from those bargain stores! They are flexible rubbery tubes and you are supposed to wrap your hair around them and lock the ends together in shape of a loop, now these wont give you an instant curl effect but if you have had them for a while then you'll end up with lovely curly hair!
Hair Flexi Rods

This is a handy little back-combing hair brush that I got from TK Maxx and I've been using it for ages to back comb my hair. I reach for this brush whenever I want instant volume in my hair. I'm always able to do nice 'poof' hair styles when I use this brush! This brush has firm bristles which lift the hair up but at sametime don't feel harsh on the hair or scalp. So if you are into a lot of back combing and all those volume boosting things then I would say this is a must-have tool for hair!

After having done with my beloved Batiste Dry shampoo in Blush, I wanted to try out the other variations of the Batiste dry shampoo so I ended up buying the Tropical one and after having used it for a week I am now loving it more than my previous Blush one! It smells divine and is a hair saver for bad hair days!
