Eye's Chic Liquid Gillter Eye Liner/Eyelash Glue - A Dupe For MAC Liquidlast Eyeliner?

HELLO! I am sure most of you would've tried the MAC Liquidlast eyeliners and found them to be great in regard to staying power. I've tried the MAC liquidlast eyeliners and found them to be a must've product for special occasions such as weddings, parties or even for very hot summer days as these eyeliners DO NOT budge or fade away and stay put even in the most challenging weather conditions!

There is no doubt that MAC Liquidllast eyeliners fall into my top 5 eyeliners list but then I always try out new things and so I recently came across the Eye's Chic Gillter Eye Liner ($8.30) from KKCenterhk, which is supposed to be a black Eyelashes Glue (!!) and I accidentally discovered it had a great potential in becoming a cheaper alternative to the infamous MAC liquidlast eyeliners! Yes ladies, I'm SERIOUSLY impressed with the staying power of my newly acquired Eye's Chic Gillter Eye Liner!

Eye's Chic Liquid Gillter Eye Liner/Eyelash Glue

I don't know why they have named it as a 'Gillter' eye liner, I suppose its supposed to to be a pun on the word Glitter as the word 'Gillter' is something I never heard of and I even did a dictionary search to no avail but then all said and done the product is great so I'll say all is well that ends well!

There is nothing fancy about the packaging, as it's basically simple, though I would've liked it if along with the name 'Eye's Chic', the bottle had some kind of description printed over it.

Below I've swatched my old favorite Miss Sporty Eyeliner along with the Eye's Chich Eye Liner. As you can see from the swatch the tip on the Eye's Chic Eyeliner is slightly wider in comparison to that of Miss Sporty. The Eye's chic eyeliner has a more shiny appearance and looks a lot more black & it's almost like a blackest black due to the higher intensity of black pigmentation in it.

Eye's Chic Liquid Gillter Eye Liner/Eyelash Glue

The rubbing test- The eye's chic eye liner will stay on no matter how hard you rub! You can see from the above pic that my skin turned red from rubbing hard but I could not budge the Eye's chic eyeliner...it blows Miss Sporty eye liner out of water when it comes to staying power!

Eye's Chic eye liner also works great as an eyelash glue! I've tried it on my Revlon eyelashes and it holds the them right in place. So there you see, you can do two things with one - use it as a eyelash glue and also as an eyeliner!

I clicked some pics to show you how it looks when worn as an eyeliner....

What I dislike:
Again it has to be the staying power as this eyeliner as it's a pain to remove and you need to use a strong make up remover for it. I won't be using it as an every day eyeliner as I do not want my skin around the delicate eye region to develop pre-mature wrinkling due to regular pulling, peeling and tugging to remove the eyeliner!

Overall I am chuffed to have discovered this little gem and will surely repurchase it in the future!

Have you tried out the Eye's Chic Liquid Gillter Eye liner/Eyelash glue?

My Parcel From ZALANDO Has Arrived!

HELLO! I had been eagerly looking forward to receiving a parcel from Zalando UK and the wait was finally over when the Postman knocked on my door and delivered it! Thumbs up to Zalando for a fairly quick delivery along with providing tracking info to keep track of the package!

As most of you are aware I am an online shopping addict and sometime back I came to know about Zalando.co.uk through their PR and since then I've been checking out their stuff for a review and in the process ordered two items!

Fashion fanatics must be already aware of Zalando and for those who don't, Zalando, a recent entrant to UK, are already popular in Germany selling shoes, clothes and beauty products online through their website, Zalando with their USP being free shipping and free return shipping which by the way cracks the deal for me as far as online shopping is concerned!

Zalando Review

Check out the Chic box with shoes and handbag prints on the cover!

Zalando Review
I was happy that the items I ordered from Zalando UK arrived well protected in the box as it was packed alongwith air filled pillows for protection of the contents from any damage!

Okay now let me tell you about the items I ordered from Zalando UK, with the first item being - Pieces GILLI - Dress trouser in Beige color.
Zalando Review - Pieces GILLI - Dress trouser
Beige/Nude trousers are very much in fashion these days and that's the reason why I couldn't resist grabbing this elegant pair along with the fact the price had been marked down to £17 from its original price of £22.95! The fabric felt so lovely and cool on my skin and I am willing to bet its gonna be one of my frequently worn trousers this summer! Be sure to check out my upcoming OOTD post about it!

The 2nd item I ordered was a Magenta color T-Shirt for my lovely BF who has been supportive plus a honest critic of my blog and this is a small gift from me to you honey! Always be the way you are!
Zalando Review - Magenta Men's t-shirt

The quality of clothing from Zalando is without doubt excellent and I would happily recommend it to all online shoppers looking for some luxury when it comes to shopping for dresses and shoes and those on a budget can check out their Sale items where lots of lovely stuff can be found at reasonable rates!

So have any of you done some shopping at Zalando? Feel free share to your experience!

On my face i am wearing MAC Pro Longwear foundation in NC 25, Becca Mineral Boudoir Skin Powder in Rapture, MUFE Sculpting Duo in shade 3 and Sleek Blush in Rose Gold.

I filled my lips with the Barry M Lipliner in Red and applied my all time favourite MAC Lipglass in shade Lychee Luxe on top of it.

Shoes and Handbags - Excite Me a Lot!

HELLO! The title says it all! I've lost count of the many shoes and handbags I have & estimate I must be having 100s of them! A real bother is that I am running out of space to store them and in a situation like this if I continue to collect more shoes and handbags I probably won't have any space to move around at my place! Ha ha!

I am planning to soon publish a detailed post or set of of posts about my shoes and handbag collection and in the process let you all have a peek at it!

Anyway, this post is about this pair of F&F Peep Toe ankle-length Gladiator style stilettos along with the F&F Doctor Handbag which I bought a month back and since then both of them have been getting lots of love and wear from me as they are a classic black plus I can pull them off with almost any outfit.

F&F gladiator shoes and doctor handbag

I love gladiator shoes and have at least 4 pair of doctor style handbags which I just can't get enough of!
So far I am loving the combo of two...both of them are made for each other :P!

I conclude by saying that when it comes to shoes and handbags, I love going matchy-matchy and what about you? Do you also like to match your shoes with your handbags or prefer not to?

Going To Work Bohemian Style

HELLO! Today I am going to share with you all some pics of mine which were clicked at a park while I returned from work. I like to occassionally go there for a short stroll for relieving myself after a stress filled day.

I recently bought this bohemian style skirt from NEXT with its printed panels and the lovely floral print standing out from the black base color of this skirt. I paired it alongwith my Topshop cream jacket and black top from TK Maxx for a formal look appropriate for work.

Though I had curled my hair in the morning it didnt hold well till evening and ended up like a bed head! Haha!

Hope you liked my bohemian look for work and thanks for dropping by! Have a good day :)

HELLO! Recently, MeMeMe Cosmetics sent me the following Eyeshadows - Elegant Eyes Trio and Goddess Eyes Quad. These Eyeshadows are just perfect for me as I love experimenting with different shades and textures.

To those not in the know MeMeMe is a High street brand offering high quality make up products at budget friendly prices.

Priced at £6.50, the Goddess Eyes Quad contains four baked shades in Cream, Light Gold, Bronze and Rich Copper for creating a variety of glamorous eye looks.
The Elegant Eyes Eyeshadow Trio is priced at £5.50 and includes stunning shades of Mauve, Lilac and Grey.
Check out the MeMeMe website for more exciting shades that are available in form of Quad, Trio and Mono eyeshadows and also check out their easy step by step guide on using their quads/ trios to create amazing eye looks!

In the pics below I used the Elegant Eyes trio and came up with this eye look after following their step by step guide

I find this look to be subtle, dreamy and romantic.....

Here I used the Goddess Eyes quad to do my eye look.....

I think that my eyes look quite piercing in this look and would pair it with a red lippy for a complete glam look...

Between the two eye looks, which one do you like more? For me it's the Elegant Eye Look!

Must-Have Face Products For Spring/Summer!

HELLO! It's transition time from Spring to Summer! During this lovely period I have fallen in love with some products about which I'm gonna talk about today!

First it's the limited edition Sleek Sparkle palette [released last Christmas]! It has glitter particles in them which sadly tend to fall off on application, but then I don't care much about it because what I really love in this is the crazy pigmentation and vibrant shades which hold on pretty well even on the greasiest eyelids! This palette is not sold anymore in stores and you would be lucky if you found it in websites such as ebay and recommend you grab them while you can!

Sleek Sparkle Palette

Most of the shades in this palette are matte, except the gold and silver ones which have a pearly finish to them. Look how pigmented the swatches look without any base underneath!

Sleek Sparkle Palette

Next up is Stop Shining Shine Corrector from Make Up For Ever which I use as a Skin Mattifying agent, especially during summertime when my skin turns oilier than usual and I struggle to achieve a shine free look! As much I love blotting papers for on go touch ups I still use the Shine corrector underneath my foundation to stay grease free for a longer time!

MUFE Stop Shining Shine Corrector

I think It's a worthy product to consider for those who have an oily/ combination skin and want to retain a matte look for longer!

MUFE Stop Shining Shine Corrector

Continuing on with products I have fallen in love with is the Stila Illuminating Tinted Moisturizer! Though not being a big fan of full coverage foundation during spring/summertime as the foundation melts away due to the heat making me look patchy and uneven, the Stilla is my preferred choice during this time, with an SPF of 15 for sun protection, it provides light coverage which blends beautifully giving my skin a radiant glow while keeping me well moisturized during the crazy dry weather! I use the lightest one as it's very forgiving and doesn't look odd on my NC 25-30 skintone.

Stila Illuminating Tinted Moisturizer

Another love, about which I have already spoken about in an earlier post is the Lord and Berry Lip crayon, a versatile and perfect product for everyday use! It's a highly pigmented pencil and I don't need a separate lip liner or brush as it's so easy to apply!
Lord and Berry Lip crayon

The shade here is Earth - a warm brownish peachy colour and for me, it's so 'in' for summer!
Lord and Berry Lip crayon in Earth

And finally it's the Dermalogica Suncreen about which I won't tell anything now as I am going soon post a review about it!

What are your top picks for this Spring/Summer?
