My Favourite Makeup Setting Sprays

HELLO! While there are many ways to change and simplify your application techniques as well as your products, there are  humid days and sultry nights when you need an extra helping hand in the form of Makeup Setting Sprays to prevent your makeup from melting.

Makeup sprays form an invisible layer over makeup and lock your makeup into place so you end your day (and night) looking just as fresh and polished as you did when you left.

Makeup sprays are also simple to use! Just hold the bottle a few inches away from your face and lightly spray your face with your eyes closed.

Now I'm going to share with you my favourite makeup setting sprays:-
Makeup Setting Sprays

Ben Nye Final Seal Matte Makeup Sealer
Ben Nye Final Seal liquid sealer is fantastic if you want to 'mattify' your skin after makeup is applied plus it keeps oil at bay for an extended period. It keeps me shine-free for longer than normal but the dewiness of skin does appear about mid-way through the day. It can be applied over your makeup for a waterproof finish. It has a minty smell and you might feel a slight tingle at the time you spray it on skin. I use this every time I go out partying and it has yet to disappoint me. It is so good that it's used by performers on stage to prevent them from sweating out their makeup under the hot lights.

Grimas Fixing Powder
Grimas fixing powder is also used by performers on stage to 'fix' the foundation and kill any shine. It is a translucent fixing powder and will not alter the colour of your foundation and therefore is ideal for darker skin tones. It has a great texture and works wonderfully plus it is also the product to consider when you cannot stretch your budget but still want a makeup sealer that works as good as those expensive ones in the market!

Urban Decay All Nighter Long-Lasting Makeup Setting Spray
Urban Decay All Nighter spray is my 'go-to' spray during winters or when my skin has started to look quite dull and lifeless. This spray gives a dewy look and brings the lost luster back to my skin. With this my makeup stays longer than usual and I like the cooling sensation of this spray on my face as it's so refreshing! Check out my full review on Urban Decay All Nighter Makeup Setting Spray.

So these are my favorite makeup setting sprays as of now. I am thinking of buying the Model In a Bottle makeup setting spray as I've read a lot of good reviews about it and therefore wish to compare it with my existing makeup setting sprays.

What’s your favourite way to make your makeup stay?
