GOSH Waterproof Eye Shadow Sticks

HELLO! Today's post is about a product which got released, ahem, a year back and sadly I never got around writing a post about them (wonder why?)! The product is GOSH waterproof Eyeshadow sticks! At the time they came out I bought a few of them (approx £6 per stick) and tried them a few times, and loved it so much that I bought them in other shades as well!The thing which appealed to me initially was that they were waterproof (thus sweat resistant), scent-free, and came with a twist applicator for easy application.

These eyeshadows come in a form of a stick which you glide over eyelid region and taking away any need for futuresharpening. I love using them as eyeshadow bases. I apply a single layer of this before putting an eyeshadow and it really sticks to the eyeshadow pigment and does help it last. It also looks great under a matte eyeshadow to give the matte color a hint of shimmer!
What I really love about the GOSH Waterproof Eye Shadow Stick is that its a multi-tasking product as I have also used some of them on my cheeks and lips to add a touch of shimmer to the area and it works great!

You can also mix the shades together to get more dimension and tones with your eye makeup. I often would use Love That Beige! as a highlighter on the brow bone. My favourite amongst the GOSH Waterproof Eye Shadow Sticks is Love That Champagne! It's such a pretty shade and would look lovely on all skintones! Another reason of why I adore this shade is that it happens to be the most water-resistant out of the other GOSH sticks I have!

I must also mention that the GOSH Waterproof Eye Shadow Sticks are cheaper and much better than MAC shadesticks because it is far creamier in texture and blend so much better! A few strokes across the lid, and then smudged to blend in and you are ready to go! These do crease on my eyes after a few hours but they have a better staying power than the MAC ones I've tried so far.

I also picked the GOSH Base Fixante Eye shadow base, a pearly white base in a stick form. This primer works well underneath shimmery/matte eyeshadow pigments.

Its not as great compared to my all time fav UDPP primer in terms of staying power, as this does not enhance the color of eye shadow very much and its way too frosty for my linking. I also don't like to use this primer under a cream based eyesdadow as it causes creasing.

Overall, the GOSH Waterproof Eye Shadow Sticks are quick and easy to use and make eye shadow adhere better on my lids!
