November Empties

HELLO! I enjoy reading these kinda posts a lot and thought it would be a good way to share my November empties post! Today I am reviewing a bunch of skincare, haircare and makeup products that I've been using in my daily routine and now they are all empties. I really like a few of them while some of them I am not very keen on and won't be repurchasing it.

Make Up For Ever HD Foundation - This is one of my all time favourite foundation and I've finished my second bottle and very much set to buy my third bottle. I use this foundation in shade 125. I'm a shade NC25-30 in MAC depending upon the season. I would say this foundation shade is more close to NC25 and has got a neutral tone. I absolutely love its texture and it hides my skin imperfections very well. I highly recommend this foundation. Click link to see full review - Make Up For Ever HD Foundation.

N.Y.C Smooth Mineral Loose Foundation Powder with SPF 12 - I like to use a mineral foundation on days when my skin is sensitive and when I am in hurry and need a quick fix. So far, my most beloved 'mineral' foundation is the Bare Minerals foundation, the N.Y.C one is just okayish, it doesn't give a great coverage and luminescence but it's not as expensive as the Bare i.d foundation, I sometimes use it instead of loose powder and it works fine for that.

Jason Organic Vitamin E with A & C Body Enhancing Shampoo - I have had this from Summer last year and you can tell its old! It wasn't very expensive but being an organic as well as a skin friendly product I was expecting much more from this, sadly it's not something I'm going to repurchase to cleanse my hair, its not a bad product but I am more happy with my newly purchased Matrix shampoo (a review later) so I rather use this for cleaning my brushes, it works great and is kind on my brushes and skin, thanks to its organic nature.

Lush Ibiza Party Shampoo - This shampoo would make a great everyday shampoo, but the fact is that I don't wash my hair every single day so I am not keen on repurchasing this, it does lather up well but it does not have a strong cleansing power. I like the smell of it and for the price it's not a bad buy.

Blossom Kochhar Aroma Magic Almond Moisturising Lotion - bought this lotion from India earlier in this year but because of its thick texture I opted to not use this in the summer and finally started using it by mid August. It's a nice moisturiser for colder season and I recommend it for combination to dry skin. I like the light almond scent on this a lot. It needs a bit of massaging into the skin but does not leave any greasiness behind, I might stock on this on my next trip to india.

Ayur Tulsi Neem Fase Wash - This one's a fail. I hate its smell, its a major put off for me, infact there is still a bit left in the tube but I couldn't be bothered. It is not a great cleanser either so my advise is to skip on this one!

Ayur Herbal Deep Pore Cleansing Milk with Aloe Vera - I LOVE this! This cleansing milk is so gentle yet so effective! It removes waterproof makeup very well and nourishes my skin at the same time, it does not drag on my skin like some cleansers do, neither does it make my skin super oily or sticky. This was my second bottle and I am definitely going to repurchase it and would recommend it to anyone!

Liz Earle Skin Repair Moisturiser for Dry/Sensitive Skin - Well I am on fence with this one, I like it when my skin is normal, as its meant for dry/sensitive skin it does not work its magic when my skin is behaving badly/dry. I like the smell, it's a quality product made with natural ingredients and apparently safer to use on sensitive skin but unfortunately for me it does not heal my skin when its dry/sensitive and hence defeating the purpose.

Charles Worthington Results Full Volume Maximum Volume  Conditioner - This conditioner does nothing for my hair, feels heavy and weigh my hair down. The ends of my hair need something more intense to banish the frizzies! I wouldn't recommend it! I am currently using the Matrix conditioner and so pleased with it, will defo do a review on it soon!

I hope you enjoyed my November Empties post. If you've used any of these products, please let me know!
